To measure your room for wallpaper, measure around the skirting boards and include doors and windows (for wastage and matches), then measure from the ceiling to the skirting board. A general rule of thumb for paint usage is that every 2.5l tin will cover approx 32 sq metres. Matt or Silk emulsion for walls and ceilings. Gloss or Satinwood for woodwork.
